Breaking: Abducted hit fm managing director has been released (see details)

Kidnapped Hit Fm managing director and former commisioner of information, Mr Patrick Ugbe, has
regained freedom.

He was released by his abductors at the early hours of today.

Mr Patrick Ugbe was earlier kidnapped on Thursday 1st of June by unidentified armed men at Ikot Ansa in calabar municipality while he was attending the burial of one of his relative.

It is still relatively unclear if a ransome was paid to secure his release.
