UNILAG LECTURER DOES THE UNTHINKABLE BY TELLING STUDENTS TO KNEEL DOWN AND CARRY THEIR HANDS UP

A unilag lecturer seems to have brought something quite strange to the university by asking his students to kneel down and raise their hands.

Here us the report by a Nairaland user:

"This happened in the University of Lagos(UNILAG), faculty of arts precisely during a Geography class. The name of the lecturer is Mr Ogunkunle.

It's not as if this is the norms in Unilag, i say a big No. But this particular lecturer has been terrorizing us.

"We have other lecturers who behaves well but this particular man is just something else i mean why will you tell adults like this to kneel and raise up hands just because they were not able to spell a particular word.

"This lecturer rarely comes to class when he comes he spends most time sending students out and threatening them. He is just a disgrace to this wonderful university. We have very brilliant, decent lecturers who respects us for who we are e.g their response to the dress code saga.

"We are please begging the university to help caution lecturers like this so that our great UNILAG won't be a laughing stock among other universities."

PASTOR ADEBOYE OFFICIALLY RETIRES. CHECK OUT HIS SUCESSOR

Pastor E.A Adeboye has reportedly retired as the General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God.

According to reports from The Nation, he announced his decision on Saturday morning, January 7. Pastor J.O. Obayemi has been named as his successor.



Last year, the church had heavily criticized those calling for his retirement because of his age were ignorant of the church’s
dogma.


Adeboye, 74, was appointed general
overseer of the church in 1991, taking
over from Papa Akindayomi, who had
died the previous year.

An Asaba based prophet, Emmanuel Chukwudi of King of Kings Deliverance Church has prophesied the death of President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019 in his 2017 prophesies



The no nonesense man of God also declared that Nnamdi Kanu will be released from prison and this will lead to the actualization of Biafra



According to him, Yemi Osinbajo will lead the country in 2019 after a tough struggle with the military who are poised to take over power.



He revealed further that detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu will be released while President Muhammadu Buhari’s health will fail him and he “shall go the way of all men”, towards the end of 2019.



He stated that the release of Kanu will lead to the actualization of Biafra



Speaking on the economy, the prophet said that God told him that: “Nigeria will come out of its current recession before the end of 2019.”



He however warned that the army would attempt to take over power, but the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo would “prevail” and lead the country.
Prophet Chukwudi said: “Tell pro-Biafrans to stop shedding tears. Their leader Nnamdi Kanu shall not remain in prison custody for too long again. He is already on his way out.


As for their (pro-Biafrans) agitations for Biafra, the Lord says it is already in the
horizon. Their day shall come soon”.



“The Lord is also speaking about Nigeria. Nigeria will come out of its current recession before the end of 2019. Oil price will stabilise and hardship shall disappear.


“But towards 2019, the presi¬dent’s health shall fail him, and he shall go the way of all men. But VP Yemi Osinbajo shall wrestle with the soldiers. They shall try to seize power and Osinbajo shall prevail. He shall lead Nigeria
into 2019.”

Governor Ayodele Fayose has made 22
prophesies about Nigeria in 2017 saying
that it will be the worst budget in the
history of the country.


He said he was directed by the Holy
Spirit to prophesy and said prayers are
needed to avert calamities in the

“The Holy Spirit has once again led me
to tell Nigerians what may happen in 2017. “We therefore need prayer to avert further calamities in Nigeria. May God help our country.”

economic hardship.

2. More judges perceived not to be

Nigeria (CJN).

4. Dollar will go as high as N600 to $1.

5. APC-led Federal Government will still
not have solution to the economic
problems of the country as the economy
will move from recession to depression.

6. About four ministers will be removed.

7. There will be more pressure on
President Muhammadu Buhari to sack
the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN)
Governor, Mr Godwin Emefiele.

8. Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) will
absolve Senate President Bukola Saraki.

9. Crisis in the APC will deepen as
former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku
Abubakar will officially show intention
to leave the party and declare his
intention to vie for the office of the
president in 2019.

10. A former Head of State/President
may pass on.

11. A new (major) party that will wrestle
power from the APC will emerge.

12. More Shi’ite Muslims will be killed
and Federal Government will not
release the Islamic Movement of Nigeria
(IMN) leader, Ibrahim El-Zakzaky.

13. Disobedience to court order and
abuse of human rights will continue. 14.
Hardship will be more as poverty will
continue to ravage the country.

14. The academic community will
further lose confidence in the APC-led
Federal Government approach to the
country’s economic and political
challenges.

Obiano will be re-elected.

16. $29.9 Billion Loan: Federal
Government will find it difficult to
source the loan.

18.There will be boost in agriculture.

to all time low.
