This is what Kano pillars fans have done to Akwa United after the Uyo based clubside defeated their team 0-1 in at the Sani Abacha Stadium.

The photos show Coach Effiong Moses (MON). He was part of the Nigerian Male Senior National team that won the Nations Cup title for this country in 1980.

The fans threatened to beat up the Referee while some of the hostile fans threw stones, sachet water into the pitch. Players and officials of Akwa United had to be locked inside the dressing room, while waiting for security reinforcement before they were ferried out of the stadium.

This should earn Kano Pillars heavy sanctions from the LMC, including banishment to a neutral ground.
