THE AFCON, BIG WINNERS AND BIG LOSERS

The African cup of Nations is here again and as always players will be leaving their clubs to represent their Nation in the tournament.
 Here are the list of various clubs and alongside the players they would lose to the AFCON

1) Manchester united- Eric Bailey (Ivory coast). Potential replacements are Phil Jones, Marcos Rojo or Smalling

2) Liverpool- Seydou Mane (Senegal). Potential replacement is Sturridge. Daniel Sturridge got injured in Monday's 2:2 draw with Sunderland and Liverpool fans will hope he recovers quickly ahead of their next match.

3) Leicester city- Riyad Mahrez (Algeria), Islam Slimani(Algeria), Daniel Amartey(Ghana). Potential replacements are Ahmed Musa, Okazaki or Jamie Vardy.

4) Westham- Chiekhou Kouyate (Senegal), Andre Ayew (Ghana), Sofiane Feghouli (Algeria), Diafra Sakho (Senegal)

5) Hull City-Ahmed Elmohamady (Egypt), Dieumerci Mbokani (Ivory Coast)

6) Everton- Idrissa Gueye (Senegal), Oumar Niasse (Senegal)

7) Stoke-Wilfried Bony (Ivory Coast), Mame Biram Diouf (Senegal), Ramadan Sobhi (Egypt)

8) Watford- Nordin Amrabat (Morocco), Adlène Guedioura (Algeria)

9) Southampton-Sofiane Boufal (Morocco)

10)Sunderland-Papy Djilobodji
Wahbi Khazri (Tunisia),  Lamine Koné (Ivory Coast), Didier Ndong (Gabon)

11) Bournemouth-Max Gradel (Ivory Coast)

12) Crystal Palace- Bakary Sako(Mali), Wilfred Zaha (Ivory coast)

I think the greatest winner is Chelsea as all their players will be with them as Nigeria were not able to qualify for the tournament. They will not miss the presence of the very influential Victor Moses along with overlooked Mikel Obi.

The big losers are Leicester city as they will be missing their key player Riyad Mahrez. It might just be a chance for the Nigerian Ahmed Musa to prove his worth. Islam Slimani has also been very excellent this season and would b e greatly missed. Daniel Amati in the middle of the park has been fantastic. Its going to be very difficult for Leicester to cope without these three players.
