South African police rescues 21 stolen cars and many more.

The South African Police Service (SAPS) has reported that they had a havest of Limpopo criminals from their operation.


According to BuzzAfrica, the operations encompassed twenty-four hour roadblocks, stop and searches, raiding of wanted suspects and illegal liquor outlets, increased Police visibility in all the shopping malls, all Ports of Entries and all Crime invested areas.

It was gathered that the following were recovered

26 firearms, 02 rifles, 02 AK 47 and 88 ammunition. 21 stolen cars. 52 cellphones. 08 TV’s. 21 computers. 09 Laptops. Drugs; Nyaope, Crystal myth and Cat valued around R192 310,00.

The police service said:

“2607 suspects were arrested for various offences ranging from : murder, housebreaking and theft, house robberies, rape, theft, fraud, public drinking, contravention of road traffic act to possession of drugs, stolen motor vehicles and unlicensed firearms and ammunition.”
