President Muhammadu Buhari clocks 74 years today, December 17, 2016.
President Buhari was born on December 17, 1942, in Daura, Katsina. He is the 23rd child of his father Adamu.
Buhari's victory at the 2015 presidential
election, marks the first time in the
history of politics in Nigeria that an
incumbent president lost to an
opposition candidate in an election.
Despite his challenges during the
military rule and his several previous failed attempt as a president, his love for the country eventually paid off as he defeated the then incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan to become the president of the federal republic of Nigeria.
