The 2017 MOBO Award was recently held and Nigerian music celebrities kept the flag flying at the event. Starboy, Wizkid beat off strong competition from Jay-Z and Kendrick Lamar to claim the award for best international artist. His contemporary, Davido claimed the award for Best African act.
