Emerging reports has it that a twin
bomb blast has ripped through a market in Madagali town. Officials say that about 47 people have been killed following
the twin bomb attack. The attack occurred at a busy market
early Friday, December 9. Army officials say that about 67 people have also been wounded following the blast.
The latest blast is the third in Madagali,
following attacks by two female suicide
bombers on December 28, 2015, at a
busy motor park. Thirty people were killed in that blast and 16 were injured.
