HAS RECESSION ALSO AFFECTED GALA AND RITE

Gala, Sausage roll which is referred to as " A hunger stopper that can be taken in between meals" and travelers food has  gradually reduced a lot from its original sizes but still maintaining the original prize N50. the reason is best known to the producers.

In an interaction with a customer, he gave the following reasons;

The reason why the size of gala has been reduced is perhaps because the companies wouldn't want to hike the prize and chase away good customers from buying them. love the 

In an interview with some customers at a shopping Centre in Calabar,

many of them expressed their grievances over the reduction in size of the gala and rite.

One Mr. Daniel particularly said the size of the gala and rite is not worth N50 anymore and he clamored that the price should be reduced to equate the size. I doubt that it would ever happen but could recession have affected Gala and Rite as well?

well, some concerned persons have said that producers of many products and businessmen now really take advantages of the recession going on to hike and reduce the prices and sizes of their products.

"It is so unfortunate that this is recession happening to us at this point in time. But i believe that it will soon be over. we must pray and believe" one said.
