Residents of Cross River express disappointmens over the scarcity of water in the metropolis
Residents of calabar have been left very disappointed as the Cross River State Water Board has not pumped water to customers for over three months now making life very unbearable for consumers.
Mynaijland was informed by some residents that sometimes when they eventually decides to pump water to residents, the water is usually very dirty and untreated. This has forced them to resort to sachet water and boreholes for bathing and cooking.
Major streets affected include Ekpo Abasi, Mayne Avenue, Inyamg, Yellow Duke, Ette Agbor, Satellite Town, Ediba, 8 Miles, Calabar South, Federal Housing, Aka-Ifa, State Housing, Marian and 8 Miles.
A resident of calabar that spoke with mynaijland stated that its getting to years since water board last supplied water to their locality.
Mynaijland is calling on the relevant authorities to come to the rescue of residents.
