There was a power failure yesterday 21st April in an area of San Francisco and left many users outside and some trapped in the elevator.
People could not move to train stations, hospitals and schools were really affected
According to Mayor Ed Lee, the Fire Department tweeted that it had responded to more than 100 calls for service, including 20 stuck elevators with people inside. At hospitals, surgeries were disrupted briefly but no problems were reported because backup generators kicked in.
According to the Washington Post's, Power had been restored to nearly all of the 90,000 customers who lost power in the Financial District and other areas of the city, Pacific Gas & Electric spokesman Barry Anderson said. About 3,000 customers remained without power late Friday afternoon, the utility said.
