There has been a supposed clash between intending joint admission and matriculation board(JAMB) candidates and the security officials in makurdi, Benue state.
This comes just weeks after some JAMB students attacked JAMB zonal office in makurdi destroying several properties including windows at the office.
Reports has it that the JAMB candidates were frustrated as only four computers were made available to over 2,000 candidates for registration.
The crisis actually started when some students connived with the registration officers to complete their registration process before others not minding others were present before them.
An eye witness said:
“Students started fighting with security operatives due to the frustrating registration process, the uniform of some of the officers were torn. A soldier was beaten to coma and as he regained consciousness, he took away three students. As I speak with you, Army personnel are currently trooping into UniAgric.”
