WATER BOARD: PLEASE GIVE US WATER, RESIDENTS IN CALABAR LAMENTS

"Cross River State Water board, why can't you people give us water? it's been 3 solid weeks no water. I believe the MD of this water board is enjoying water in his house. How can you people be dis wicked? It's not funny at all. Since last year I can't remember when last we enjoy water in state housing Estate. This is total wickedness. You people should give us water so we can survive. Pls oooh talk to the MD of Water board."

This has been the cry of most cross riverians. Speaking with some residents in satellite town, they stated that for two years plus and still counting they have not given water by water board while in some other areas in calabar south, they also stated that the water supplied is not usually clean. Residents in Atimbo also stated that for 3 months now, no water.

We call on the relevant authorities to come to their aid.
