TIV TRADITIONAL COUNCIL BANISHES MAN WHO SAT ON TOR TIV STOOL BEFORE THE KING
The Tiv Traditional Council (TTC) on Sunday banished an indigene of Ushongo Local Government Mr Stephen Nyitse from Tiv Land who sat on the throne of the Tor Tiv minutes before Coronation
Tor Kwande HRM Chief Ambrose Iyortyer who annonuced the banishment on behalf of the Tiv Traditional Council said the council strongly condemned the conduct of Mr Nyitse at the conronation venue of Tor Tiv V HRM Prof. James Ayatse and also stated that the banishment starts with immediate effect.
He also stated that no Tiv son or daughter should render any help if any form to Mr Nyitse and that Mr Nyitse under no circumstance step his feet on any part of Tiv land any where in the world.
Mr Stephen Nyitse of Ushongo Local Government is accused of butchery the consecrated Tor Tiv Stool.
It would be recalled that before arrival of the yet to be crowned King at the venue of his coronation, Nyiste did something that sent shivers into the eyes of the people and dignitaries present as he walked confidently beating the tight security at
the venue and around the revered
throne and gained access to it.
