Super eagles midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi has been awardee the Belgium Goal of the Year award for his volley against Club Brugge while playing for Gent in the 2015/16 season.
The Leicester City midfielder received the prize on Tuesday, February 28 at the Leicester City training ground.
Ndidi netted a fantastic long-range volley in April 2016 during the Belgian league playoffs.
The midfielder has since moved from Gent joining Leicester City in January replacing Nkolou Kante after two years with the Belgians.
Ndidi has been included in the squad released by Gernot Rohr to face Senegal and Burkina Faso in friendlies to be played later this month.
