Reports reaching mynaijland has it that Prof Edet Ekpeyong, a lecturer in the department of Zoology, Unical who was kidnapped while he was jogging on campus has been released.
He was released yesterday and has reunited with his family.
It is still relatively unclear if any Ransome was paid.
