A 300L student of University of Nigeria Nsukka was shot dead at Hiltop, a location notorious for criminal activities in the school.
The dead student has been identified as Emmanuel Joseph popularly known as Big Joe.
It is still relatively unclear the cause of his death but many are attributing it to a cult clash. There is yet to be any official statement by the school as at the time of filing in this reports.
Residents of Hilltop are advised to be cautious and stay indoors to allow the security agents handle the situation.
