MESSI, RONALDO, THIERY HENRY, ZIDANE TO STORM ABUJA FOR NOVELTY MATCH
Real Madrid and current world's best
player Cristiano Ronaldo and his bitter rival from Barcelona Lionel Messi are expected to storm Abuja for an international novelty football match. Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane and former African player of the year Abedi Pele are also expected to be part of the project.
The aim of the novelty match is
campaigning against trafficking,
insurgency and terrorism.
The match is expected to be played at
the Abuja National Stadium on May 21,
2017, and it is being organized by
Next2None Support Initiative with the
theme: Africa My Africa.
Other African player ofbtge year such as Nwankwo Kano and Jay Jay Okocha as well legends of the game such as Thuery Henry is expected to be part of the match.
Ndukwe Sam Obu who is the chairman
of Next2None Support initiative said his
organization decided to use football for
its campaign because it speaks the
language of love, peace, hope and unity.
