Multiple explosions by local sources in Maiduguri on Sunday night. A suicide bomber reportedly attacked a Civilian Joint Task Force (CTJF) check point around Muna garage, while another set of bombers invaded Kalleri ward.
This comes 24 hours after an Army captain and five soldiers were brutally killed in an attack on 27 Taskforce Brigade of the Nigeria Army in Buni Yadi, Gujba Local Government Area of Yobe State.
Lt. George Okupe, the Brigade spokesman, confirmed there was indeed an attack, but could not ascertain the casualty figures.
