Nigeria captain Mikel Obi is reportedly close to a big money move to China as he is set to undergo a medical on Thursday with Chinese Super League club Tianjin TEDA.
Mikel at 29 has been overlooked so far by Conte and has not had a single minute of action at Chelsea this season, has been offered a package worth around £140,000 per week.
The Super Eagles midfielder initially held talks with Valencia and was heavily linked with Marseille and Inter Milan but seems to have joined the host of players moving over to China.
Nigerian coach, Gernet Rohr had told the media that Mikel will continue to play for the super eagles irrespective of where he plays his football and that wherever he goes he will respect his decision.
