CHECK OUT THE THREE MAN NOMINEES FOR AFRICAN FOOTBALLER OF THE YEAR RELEASED BY CAF
Liverpool's Saido Mane and Leicester City's Riyad Mahrez will fight Borussia Dortmund and Gabon star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for the 2016 CAF African footballer of the year award.
Aubameyang was the winner last year beating Yaya Toure and Andre Ayew.
Egypt's Mohamed Salah and Islam
Slimani of Algeria both missed out
having made the final five.
Caf confirmed that the winners will be
unveiled at a ceremony on Thursday 5
January in Abuja, Nigeria.
Mahrez is favorite for the award among
after guiding Leicester City to Premier League glory and won the English Players' Player of the Year award.
