SCRABBING OF POST UTME: A CURSE OR A BLESSING OR A BLESSING?

The Federal government scrapped out the POST-UTME examination some months ago but in an interview with some students seeking admission into the higher institution, that decision did not go down well with them.

A student who admission in UNIUYO for banking and finance lamented that she was not given admission despite her 256 score and a very good WAEC result gotten in one sitting. She opined that the decision to scrap out POST-UTME just increased bribery and corruption in the admission seeking process. Other students concurred and shared the same view. One specifically said what you will score in previous years and your admission will be done and dusted is no more good enough. He also confessed and lamented that he asked to bring N300, 000 but he just can’t because of his religious background.

But I must confess, it has sent students back to their reading tables in order to make very good results so as to get admission on merit only.
