HAZARD AND COSTA SHINE FOR CHELSEA

  Chelsea put their cup loss to Westham behind them as they comprehensively defeated Southampton this weekend. Conte maintained his squad that defeated Manchester united. Eden Hazard opened the scoring in the 6th minute after receiving
a lovely pass from Victor Moses, he checked back and slotted it between the legs of the Southampton goal keeper. Southampton dominated but could not get past a very resolute Chelsea defence. Costa then increased his tally this season with a beautiful curler 10 minutes after the half time.

Victor Moses tested the Keeper thrice from the wings and Costa also missed a one on one from a fine pass by Nemanja Matic but Chelse held on to win 2:0
