Policemen arrested in Lagos state for offences

-The commissioner of Police in Lagos State, Mr Fatai Owoseni says no fewer than 65 police personnel have been arrested for various  offences in the last one month.

Anti-Extortionist squad has made the arrest in different part of the state.

The action according to Lagos police commissioner, was in compliance with the directive of the Inspector-General of Police on zero tolerance to corruption and unprofessional conduct in the force.

Some of the arrested policemen are set for dismissal wile other will be demoted. Some involved in killing have been charged to court.

Owoseni said he embarked on re-orentation and retraining to keep all police to order in obeying rules.
