The match just ended between Brazil and Australia in the women quarter final of the Rio Olympics. Brazil 7:6 (penalty shootout)

Barbara

The match was really a tug of war as the both side ended the full 90minutes goalless.

The Brazilian had several chances in the first half of the extra time to score but they seems clueless when the come to box 18.

Extra time ended goalless and both teams were set for penalty with wonderful shoot out from both teams.

With all hope built on Marta the Brazilian captain, she had a kick to the left and the Austrian keeper Williams, had a wonderful catch. All thanks to the Brazilian keeper for a wonderful catch reducing Marta's grief.

With a miss from Kennedy, and comfortable knock-out from Barbara, Brazil scale through to the semi-final with a win of 7 goals to 6.
