3 DEAD IN PLATEAU LG PROTEST; 24-HR CURFEW IMPOSED

Protest in Bokkos Local government of Plateau state as a result of the murder of a ruler of Bokkos and some of his aides left three dead and others injured.

This has made the government to declare 24hours curfew in the local government on Thursday. According to channels TV, Rufus Bature advised the general public and residents of the affected area to duly comply with the decision of the government and to cooperate with the security personnel sent there.
The youth of Bokkos protested over the killing  of their leader Saf Ron-Kulere and others on Monday morning.
According to the commissioner of police of the state, the ruler did not die by gunshot but as a result of loss of vehicle’s control as driver was shot.

It was told that the protest began when Habila visited the Bokkos over the death of the ruler.
